                                                                                  Romania/Czech Republic 2010

Michelle Pritzl will be returning in August to serve with Stepping Stones Missions and YWAM in Romania, and teaching at Freakfest in the Czech Republic.  Stepping Stones Missions runs a feeding/day center in the village of Medgadia that has just gotten started.  Medgadia is a poor village and the children served are living under the poverty line, and are mostly from Turkish and Gypsy minorities.  She will be doing art with the children at the feeding center and possibly creating a mural with them in the building.  She will also be helping Stepping Stones Missions in their day-to-day outreaches and evangelism.  Eventually this feeding center will be expanded to be a Christian coffeehouse and bookstore, and take on an even bigger role in sharing the Gospel in Medgadia.

YWAM runs a day center in Constanta, a town just 20 minutes away Medgadia.  Last year she served with YWAM for 2 weeks, teaching art for a summer camp at the day center, as well as orphanages.  The kids at the day center are still talking about their summer camp last year and the art they created, so this year she will go back to teach several times a week, as well as serve alongside YWAM staffers in their street ministry to the homeless in Constanta.

This year Michelle will also be teaching an art seminar at Freakfest, a small Christian music festival that is in its 5th year.  The Czech Republic is the most atheist country in the world; a recent survey found almost 70% that identify themselves as atheist, and less than 2% percent of it’s population professing Evangelicals.
